2 Year Old Gift Guide

This is such a fun age to shop for and can be a little overwhelming. When shopping for my 2 toddlers, I love trying to get gifts from several categories! Here are some of our tried-and-true toys that my kids have loved.

1. Wooden Cash Register (USA, CAN) | This beautifully painted till has real buttons to push and is packed with paper money and wooden coins. There are 5 wooden pictures to slot into the top window for extra play.

2. Machine Washable Doll (USA, CAN) | 14 inches from head to toe, with fully embroidered facial features and sculpted, embroidered hair. So many different styles to choose from. Clothes are removable too!

3. Cupcake Truck (USA) | This toy is brand new and you won’t see it around much yet! Don’t forget to add the $6.75 coupon! This mix-and-match set includes the trucks with removable roof plus interchangeable frosting, cakes & liners.

4. Animal Magnets (USA, CAN) | Educational, developmental toy that includes 20 favorite and familiar animals to manipulate and move around on magnetic surfaces. We have many different sets of these!

5. Crawl Tunnel (USA, CAN) | A crawl tunnel is a great gift that will last for many years to come! Great to set up an obstacle course! There is also one at Ikea that is a great option!

6. Junior Size Bouncy Castle (USA, CAN) | This bouncy castle has been amazing for us! It is the junior size so it is small enough that we are able to use in our basement and living room! Just having it for birthday parties has been so worth it. We also have long winters which makes this great to get the kids moving.

7. Bedtime Shadow Book (USA, CAN) | I always talk about these books because my kids love them! Use your phone to shine pictures up onto the wall or ceiling while reading the story or nursery rhymes. Your kids will love them!

7. Metal Shopping Cart (USA, CAN) | I really wanted a long lasting, sturdy shopping cart and definitely found it! It even has the fold open seat for dolls! Spring loaded wheels that pivot 360 degrees.

8. Tube Ramp for Cars/Balls (USA) | This tube is the simplest toy every but has been a big hit with my 2 boys! They love it for their hot wheels. Prop against a couch, chair, stairs or anywhere! Transparent middle piece allows child to watch cars pass through. Comes apart in three pieces for easy storage.

9. Bath Tub Bay (USA) | My kids love bath toys like this! Especially ones with a slide for characters. This playset has lots of fun features including a boat, slide, water pouring feature, color changing crab and more!

10. Money Around Game (USA, CAN) | This game especially for 2-year-olds contains 40 cards that prompt players to do movements together - from hugs to high fives to simple gross motor skills like balancing, hopping and marching

11. Carry & Go Track Table (USA, CAN) | This track flips for cars/monster trucks on one side and trains on the other side! Portable and easily put away to save space! We love this track!

12. Monster Trucks 2 Pack (USA, CAN) | These monster trucks by Hot Wheels are perfect for little hands. These have been some of my kids’ favorite vehicles and go perfectly with the track table above.

13. Magnetic Tiles (USA, CAN) | Now is the time to start your magnetic tiles collection. This is the most used toy in our home and was a hit for my kids at 2! I have tested many brands and for quality and safety, I recommend Magnatiles and Connetix.

14. Magnetic Ice Cream Cones (USA, CAN) | My son started using these before he was 2 and still loves them now! Pretend Play Set includes four magnetic ice-cream scoops, two cones, and a magnetic scooper.

15. Microwavable Stuffed Animal (USA, CAN) | We heat these up first thing in the morning and before bed. The kids love cuddling with them! Filled with all-natural grain and dried lavender. (They do have a lavender scent!) You can also use them cold!

16. Water Seesaw for Bath (USA, CAN) | Love this bath toy for practicing pouring. It is so fun to use the seesaw and then have the character go down the slide. Comes with a little boat as well!

17. Heads & Tails Puzzle (USA, CAN) | Designed to provide just the right level of challenge for the individual child; begin by offering just two matching pieces; increase the challenge level by simply offering more pieces to choose matches from.

18. Junior Basketball Set (USA, CAN) | We go this for my son last year for Christmas! This adjustable basketball hoops is a great sports toy for active play and grows with your child. Can be used inside or outside!

19. Express Your Feeling Sensory Bottles (USA) | Each of my kids has a set of these! Each bottle features a unique emotion, color, and interactive element that ties to 1 of 4 emotions. Great for a calm down corner and to help identify emotions.

20. The Bilibo (USA, CAN) | A super, underrated, open-ended toy! Use it as a seat to spin, stand on it, make it a doll bed, a toy carrier and so much more! So much creative fun!
